Afrikaans: Swartsuikerbekkie-wyfie in nes wat sy hang aan die onderste takke van 'n Vaalboom, anders as ander plaaslike suikerbekkie-spesies. Die nes se kep oor die ingang, geronde basis en oorwegende peervorm is tipies. Slegs die wyfie bou daaraan, en dit word dikwels naby menslike bewoning geplaas, soos hierdie een, geleë tussen twee buitegeboue by 'n plaasopstal in Gauteng, Suid-Afrika.
Deutsch: Nest eines Amethystglanzköpfchens (Chalcomitra amethystina) in Südafrika
English: Female amethyst sunbird in nest, suspended from lower branches of a Terminalia sericea tree, unlike other local sunbird species. The hood over the entrance, rounded base and general pear-shape of the nest is typical. Built by the female only, and often placed near human habitation, like this one, situated between two outbuildings at a farm homestead in Gauteng, South Africa.
