Description

This is the chair of queen Hetepheres I found in her tomb at Giza which dates to the reign of Khufu, c.2551-2528 BCE. This rare genuine furniture is today located in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo, Egypt.

Hetephres I was the wife of king Sneferu and mother of king Khufu or Cheops (in Greek)
