Tiếng Việt: Săn mồi giỏi
Chó Phú Quốc được thừa hưởng từ tổ tiên biệt tài săn mồi. Mặc dù hiện nay, chó được thuần hóa hơn nhưng bản tính thích săn mồi của nó vẫn không bị mất đi. Chó Phú Quốc săn mọi con vật từ gà, ngan, vịt, chuột cho đến rắn, lợn rừng. Chó không cần bất cứ ai hướng dẫn, chúng tự tính toán phương án tốt nhất để thâu tóm con mồi. Khi đi một mình, giống chó này sẽ tìm cơ hội, đi đường tắt để tiếp cận con mồi nhanh hơn. Nếu đi theo đàn, chúng sẽ bày “thiên la địa võng” để tóm gọn con mồi. |
