Deutsch: Cevio Private Grotti, Cantina, Grotto, Canvetto. Das sind Lokale, die in der Vergangenheit gebaut wurden, um Wein und Lebensmittel darin zu konservieren. Manchmal aus den Felsen gehauen, immer in einer kühlen und schattigen Zone, meistens fern von den Wohnhäusern, am Waldrand oder am Ufer von Flüssen und Wildbächen. Einige hat man belassen, wofür sie bestimmt waren, als Speisekammern für Weine, Wurstwaren, Käse und nur in speziellen Fällen dienen sie als Rahmen für private Zusammenkünfte bei denen getafelt wird. Die Grotti sind besonders im Sommer sehr geschätzt, weil man dort die regionalen Spezialitäten im Freien geniessen kann. |
