Notes Boy Scouts Association King's Scout Certificate, Stephen Ravlich (note misspelling), Monte Cecilia Troop, 1943 Steven Ravlich, born 1927 is a first generation New Zealander. His father migrated from Dalmatia in 1901 becoming a naturalised New Zealander in 1906. Steven attended the Monte Cecilia Catholic School in Hillsborough and during that time joined the School's scout troop, coordinated by father Pascal from the nearby Franciscan Friary. Steven became Troop Leader and achieved the distinction of becoming a King's Scout. He stopped his involvement with the Scout's in 1944 when he left school and began working at Winstone's Ltd (where his father also worked). Secondary School- Seddon Memorial Technical College 1941-1942 Working Life- January 1943- April 1949 - Winstones Ltd. Took a 5 year apprenticeship in Motor Engineering and worked 2 years as a tradesman April 21st 1949-1964- Tasman Empire Airways Ltd (TEAL), as am aircraft engineer 1964-1986- Air New Zealand (ANZ), as Aircraft Engineer Workshop Foreman 1986-present- Retired
