A cerimônia aconteceu no Batalhão de Polícia do Exército de Brasília para celebrar a data oficial do Dia Internacional dos Mantenedores da Paz - 29 de maio. As ações dos Peacekeepers ocorrem em diversas frentes, como no resgate de reféns, no desarmamento de ex-combatentes, na proteção de civis e na garantia dos direitos humanos.
