Čeština: Cerhovice, Mayerův (Meyerův) pivovar na kolorované pohlednici z doby před první světovou válkou. Pivovar byl založen v roce 1898 Františkem Mayerem, v roce 1900 se tu uvařila první várku piva. František Mayer působil předtím v Šillingerově pivovaru v Cerhovicích jako sládek a ve svém novém pivovaru tvrdě konkuroval právě Šillingerově pivovaru. Po smrti Františka Mayera v roce 1907 koupil podíl v pivovaru Františkův bratr Josef Mayer a v roce 1913 se zcela osamostatnil. Před první světovou válkou byl roční maximální výstav Mayerova pivovaru 7134 hektolitrů piva.
English: Cerhovice, Mayer's (Meyer's) brewery on a coloured postcard from before the First World War. The brewery was founded in 1898 by František Mayer and in 1900 the first batch of beer was brewed here. František Mayer had previously worked at the Šillinger brewery in Cerhovice as a brewer and in his new brewery he competed fiercely with Šillinger's brewery. After František Mayer's death in 1907, his brother Josef Mayer bought a share in the brewery and in 1913 it became completely independent. Before the First World War, the maximum annual output of the Mayer brewery was 7134 hectolitres of beer. |
