Description
English: Ceramic Inca animal (supposedly a "caiman") from Acomayo, Cuzco department, Peru. Late Horizon, 1400-1532 AD. Item 08570 in the Museum of the Americas, Madrid. Note the ears and snout, which identify it as a mammal, rather than a reptile.
Español: Cerámica inca (supuestamente en forma de un "caimán"), de Acomayo en el departamento de Cuzco, Perú. Horizonte Tardío, 1400-1532 d.C. Artículo 08570 en el Museo de América, Madrid. Fíjese en la nariz y las orejas, que identifican el animal como un mamífero, no un reptil.
