Italiano: Tra le prime discipline assegnate dallo Stato Maggiore Difesa all'appena costituito "Nucleo Centro Sportivo Aeronautica Militare", ci fu il Bob. Proprio da questo, nei primi anni di attività, arrivarono i primi ed importanti successi: da ricordare le medaglie d’Oro conquistate nel bob a 2 dal Maggiore Giacomo Luigi CONTI e dal Maresciallo Lamberto Dalla COSTA alle Olimpiadi di Cortina nel 1956 e quelle del Maresciallo Luciano De Paolis nel Bob a 2 e nel Bob a 4, nel 1968 a Grenoble (Francia).
Nel 2012 il Centro Sportivo dell’Aeronautica Militare ha deciso di riprendere l’attività degli Sport Invernali che per oltre un trentennio era stata sospesa, con l’obiettivo di partecipare con dei propri atleti alle Olimpiadi Invernali di Sochi (2014). Inizialmente, sono stati tesserati alla F.I.S.I. (la competente Federazione) alcuni propri promettenti atleti provenienti dall’Atletica Leggera e, successivamente, sono stati arruolati Costantino UGHI e Simone FONTANA entrambi appartenenti alla disciplina del Bob su pista, rispettivamente in qualità di "Frenatore" e "Pilota". Dal 2015 Il Centro Sportivo AM ha aperto alla disciplina dello Skeleton, con il tesseramento di Andrea GALLINA, portando così a compimento il progetto di transizione dell' ex atleta proveniente dall'Atletica Leggera. |
