English: Image of an open book, Al-Qazwīnī’s Ajā’īb al-makhlūqāt wa gharā’ib al-mawjūdāt, a Persian translation copied in 19th century India; the full page, fol. 24 b, shows a centaur hunting holding a sword, with tigers and a bird surrounding him; a partial page has Persian script.
