| Description |
English: Cattle Handling Pen Moving cattle on the road is a rare sight these days except for dairy herd areas. Several reasons for this, traffic too fast and drivers with no understanding of rural ways, lack of hedges both in villages and countryside and probably the best reason, cattle with "attitude" that can't be cajoled to walk sedatley down the road. They would rather run two parishes ahead, hence in-field penning. |
