Description
Español: Cúpula de gallones revestidos con escamas de piedra y soportada con pechinas parece que de influencia bizantina. Culmina con una bola agallonada que le da el nombre popular "Torre del Melón. Es uno de los elementos más llamativo, bello y original de la Catedral Románica de Plasencia y uno de los símbolos de la ciudad. El cimborrio forma parte del Grupo de Cimborrios Leoneses, junto con la catedral de Zamora, la Vieja de Salamanca y la Colegiata de Toro.
