Catedral Basilica de la Inmaculada Concepción Guillermo Nelson y Canizales s/n C.P.82000 Mazatlán, Sin Tels. (669) 981-3352 y 985-5315

Se encuentra situada en el corazón del centro de la ciudad, celosamente resguardada por la presidencia municipal, el edificio de correos, la plazuela Republica y una nutrida zona comercial. Se consagro y dedico solemnemente a la inmaculada Concepción en 1938 y fue declarada Catedral al crearse el obispado de Mazatlán, en el año 1958. Su construcción inició en 1856, bajo la dirección del Obispo Pedro Loza y Pardavé y fué diseñada y construida por el Sr. Estanislao León, quien murió en las etapas finales de la construcción.; en 1875 su obra se detuvo debido a las Leyes de Reforma dictadas por Benito Juárez, sin embargo en 1899 los trabajos se reanudaron por el párroco Miguel Lacarra, y fue así que la iglesia fue concluida en el año de 1899.
