Description
English: Marines from 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, prepare to swim the 500 meters to shore after being dropped from a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter into the water off Onslow Beach near Camp Lejeune, N.C., during a helo-casting exercise, July 23. Helo-casting provides Marines with a stealthy waterborne insertion method and is a required skill for all reconnaissance Marines.
