Description
Español: En el pasado, mientras la población de Lima aumentaba, también se incrementó el número de muertos. Los habitantes solían enterrar a sus difuntos en las profundidades de los templos. Es así como se fueron construyendo amplias redes de túneles y cementerios subterráneos por todo el casco histórico, como el Conjunto Monumental San Francisco, que funcionó como tal hasta 1810.
