Cast cu-alloy oval buckle frame and pin
Description
English: Medieval cast cu-alloy buckle dating from the 13th-14th century. The buckle is complete and the pin is still attached although worn and no longer functional. It is oval shaped and has an outside edge that is internally biconcave. The pin rest is flanked by two pronounced knops on either side. Similar examples have been found at Meols on the Wirral and dated to the 13th/14th century.
