Description
English: Cast copper alloy medieval clasp plate. The object is sub-rectangular in plan. At one end it thickens to form a solid cylinder, (hinge), comprising of three parts. The other end is pointed and is broken. The remains of some guilding can be seen. It was possibly used as a book clasp.
