English: Cast copper alloy Post Medieval shoe buckle. A rectangular buckle with rounded ends. It has a drilled hole in the frame to take the separate spindle which is now missing. There is a groove on one end where the pin would have sat. The long sides are concave and have decoration in the form of grooved lines.
