Summary
[edit]DescriptionCashmere Cafe Building, Cashmere, WA.jpg |
English: This building at 106 Cottage Avenue was built in several phases throughout the 1920s by cafe owner Kosta Valissarakos. Originally a 2-story wood frame building, its walls were gradually replaced by concrete with the second floor and brick façade being completed in 1929. The upper floors contained apartments, known as the Cashmere Cafe Apartments. It's unknown exactly what the building's long-missing name plate once displayed, if one was ever installed. The ground floor is currently occupied by a Mexican restaurant. |
