Dentro de éstas, pueden distinguirse dos grupos: 1.- Especies cuyos racimos superan los cinco milímetros (5-8 mm) de anchura: Tamarix africana y T. chinensis. 2.- Especies con los racimos más estrechos (menores a cinco milímetros): Tamarix canariensis, T. gallica, T. mascatensis y T. ramossisima. En Madrid hay 9 especies del género Tamarix. T. canariensis que junto con T africana y T. matritensis, son los más abundantes, T. gallica, T. boveana , T. parviflora, T. ramosissima, T. chinensis, T. mascatensis y el ya citado y no reconocido en Flora Ibérica; T. matritensis, abundante en el entorno de la junta del Manzanares con el Jarama hasta el Puente Pindoque, así como el el Soto de Aldovea. |
