Description
Italiano: Ex chiesa di Santa Croce, Casale Monferrato, Piemonte, Italia

English: The deconsecrated church of Santa Croce in Via Roma, Casale Monferrato, Italy. The neo-classical façade to the existing Gothic church was designed by the local architect Francesco Ottavio Magnocavalli in 1748, the existing one having suffered fire damage. The project ran out of money on the death of its benefactors and was never completed; in particular the original design included a pediment and tympanum.
