2005 Colori acrilici, inferriate. L'edificio su cui l'artista interviene era nato per ospitare un luogo di ristoro. Reputato degradante per La Scarpata, opera preesistente, si decide di attuare un intervento che possa far dialogare le due strutture. Maria Lai dipinge mostruosi draghi e varani che invadono di nero le pareti della casa trasformando una costruzione anonima in un totem delle inquietudini di tutta la comunità. Maria Lai
