Description
Español: Casa habitación de hermoso diseño colonial y que colinda con la estación ferroviaria de la ciudad. Su columnata dórica, da cuenta de su estilo neoclásico. Construida alrededor de 1860 y restaurada en 1993. Esta gran residencia de un sólo volumen, posee dos corredores en toda su extensión, delimitados por simples columnas de forma cónica trunca, en maderas coronadas por una cornisa con molduras.

Esta estructura, es en base a pino Oregón, con revestimiento de caña de Guayaquil y barro, para completar los muros, similar a todas las construcciones de la época. El edificio posee una estructura simétrica en la fachada, en la techumbre y muros. El acceso principal a la residencia, es realzado por un frontón en altura triangular, tras el cual se ubica una torrecilla de madera.

En la actualidad alberga las oficinas del Servicio Nacional Geología Minera, SERNAGEOMI, y se ubica en Alameda Manuel Antonio Matta N° 264
