Description
Français : Casa de las Chirimias (maison des clarinettes), 1609. Corps de bâtiment utilisé par les autorités de la ville pour jouir du spectacle des fêtes données sur la place qui lui fait face. Au rez-de-chaussée se tenaient le Corregidor et les Alguacils, au premier les Alcaldes et les 24 Conseillers, et au dernier étage se tenaient les musiciens, trompettistes et joueurs de "chirimia", type de clarinette. English: Casa de las Chirimias (House of the clarinets), 1609. This building was used by the Officials of the city, to enjoy the spectacles of the feasts in the facing square. At the third floor took place the musicians, among them the "chirimia" (clarinet) players. Granada, Spain.
Español: Casa de las Chirimias, 1609. Torre mirador de tres cuerpos utilizada por el Ayuntamiento de la ciudad para contemplar los festejos celebrados en la explanada junto al rio Darro. En la planta baja del edificio se situaban el corregidor y los alguaciles; en la primera, Alcaldes y "Caballeros Veinticuatro" (concejales); en la tercera, los musicos con trompetas y chirimias (tipo de clarineta) para amenizar los juegos de cañas y toros.
