| Description |
Español: La Casa de Palancas Norte (Naya) fue un enclavamiento ferroviario construido en 1881 para controlar el creciente tráfico del ferrocarril de Riotinto. En principio solo se encargó de los trenes de la vía general, ya fuera a Huelva o Minas de Riotinto, aunque después pasó a ser una estación para los trenes provenientes del Túnel 16 (Naya) y, por último, de los que trabajaban en la zona industrial. Debido a este uso múltiple, la parte superior tiene visión de 360 grados, a diferencia de las casas de palancas que se construyeron en el resto de la vía general hasta Huelva. El enclavamiento tenía dos plantas, estando en funcionamiento desde su creación hasta el final de la línea en 1984. En 1987 pasó a formar parte de los activos de Fundación Río Tinto, siendo rehabilitada en 2004 y formando parte hoy en día del Tren Turístico de Riotinto. |
