Español: A manera de tributo a Villa y para preservar nuestra historia, se creó el Museo de la Revolución Mexicana en la ciudad de Chihuahua, ubicándolo precisamente en la que fuera la casa del caudillo y su esposa, Luz Corral, quien vivió en esta magnífica residencia hasta su muerte a una edad muy avanzada. El inmueble es también conocido como ‘Quinta Luz’, bautizada así por Villa en honor a su querida esposa.
Fue utilizada como la residencia del matrimonio y también como cuartel general para las actividades revolucionarias que encabezó. Sin duda alguna, en esta magnifica propiedad sucedieron eventos de suma importancia para los logros obtenidos en la lucha revolucionaria. Francisco Villa murió asesinado por sus detractores en una emboscada mientras circulaba en su automóvil por la ciudad de Hidalgo del Parral, en el año de 1923. Su viuda, Doña Luz, tuvo a bien donar la propiedad al Gobierno de México en 1981, con la finalidad y condición de que se convirtiera en lo que es hoy: el Museo de la Revolución Mexicana, en donde se cuenta la historia del movimiento social y se exhiben objetos, arte, fotografías, documentos y armamento que utilizó Villa durante los tormentosos actos de 1910 y hasta su muerte. Incluso el automóvil en el que fue asesinado forma parte de los objetos de la colección del museo.
