| Description |
Français : Immeuble de rapport sur la calea Şerban Vodă, au numéro 105. Il est construit sur le même modèle que l'immeuble " Bodgan " de Ploieşti. La bâtisse est malheureusement défigurée par des vitrages isolants disgracieux, un bétonnage grossier d'une partie de la rambarde du balcon principal, à l'origine en fer forgé, ainsi que par l'ouverture de larges baies vitrées détruisant l'harmonie qu'avait imaginé l'architecte. Les deux entrées au rez-de-chaussée ont aussi été simplifiées, perdant complétement leur style d'origine. Une photographie du bâtiment a été publiée dans la revue Arhitectura en 1924, probablement juste après sa construction. Architecte Toma T. Socolescu.
Nous sommes les descendants et uniques ayant-droits de toute l'oeuvre de Toma T. Socolescu (mort en 1960 à Bucarest).
English: Rental property on calea Şerban Vodă, at number 105. Built on the same model as the "Gheorghe Bogdan" house of Ploiesti. The building is unfortunately disfigured by unsightly modern windows, a partial rough concreting of the railing of the main balcony, originally built in wrought iron, as well as large picture windows destroying the harmony the architect had imagined. The two entrances on the ground floor have also been simplified, losing completely their original style. A photograph of the building was published in the Arhitectura journal in 1924, probably shortly after its construction. Architect: Toma T. Socolescu.
We are the only heirs and descendants of Toma T. Socolescu (died in 1960 in Bucharest) and therefore owner of all his intellectual rights. |
