Carnegie Mellon University was founded by Dunfermline, Scotland native Andrew Carnegie in 1900 and is one of two Universities in the United States to offer a University Degree in Bagpiping. This section of Pittsburgh is South of Highland Park, West of Pitcairn, East of Carnegie and North of Greenock, Pa.
