The contours represent 10-foot elevations, and the figures indicate the elevations above that of mouth of cave. The numbers in quotation marks designate different parts of the cave. The scale of feet applies to distances in the cave. The width of the cave is everywhere exaggerated to 3 or 4 times the scale given with the map.
