Description
Srpski (latinica): Careva džamija, poznata i pod imenom Obradovića džamija, ili jednostavno Gradska džamija, nalazi se u centru Bileće, u Republici Srpskoj, BiH. Proglašena je za nepokretno kulturno dobro Republike Srpske.

Careva džamija izgrađena je 1895. godine, na temeljima stare džamije, novcem kojeg je dala Zemaljska vlada BiH (40.000 kuna) i domaće stanovništvo. Po tome je najmlađa džamija u Hercegovini. Bilećki muslimani su se obratili caru Francu Jozefu u Beč, sa predstavkom i zamolili da se džamija u Bileći izgradi od tesanog kamena kao i crkva, što im je i odobreno. Car je dao odobrenje i poklonio ćilim. Minaret Careve džamije je bio oštećen od udara groma 1925. godine, i to njegov donji deo, kaca, koji je kasnije restauriran. Za vreme Drugog svetskog rata, džamija je bila oštećena. Godine 1965. ova oštećenja su sanirana. Tada je izgrađena gasulhana i ograđen harem džamije. Preko puta džamije nalazila se do 1941. godine zgrada mekteba, koja je sagrađena početkom 20. veka. Zgrada je u toku Drugog svetskog rata jako oštećena, a nakon 1950. godine je srušena.

Careva džamija je minirana 1992. godine i tom prilikom su potpuno uništeni krov, minaret i enterijer džamije, dok su zidovi znatno oštećeni. Ponovo je obnovljena 2011. godine.
