Description
English: Cardenwell. As I waited for the John Deere combine harvester to come close enough for this shot, I thought it was going unusually slowly. When it reached the end of the swathe, the driver got out and came to see what I was doing. He explained that the reason for cutting the grain slowly is that its moisture content is about 21%, and this means that the seeds do not readily shake out of their husks, so extra care is needed when harvesting it.
