Summary
[edit]DescriptionCaptured German aeroplane (3011973171).jpg |
English: A captured German aeroplane. It has been strapped onto a trailer. Sitting on the trailer alongside the aeroplane are five soldiers. Directly in front of the aeroplane is a canvas-topped truck. Both are parked on a muddy road, with a field directly behind. It was important for official photographers to record the looting of German trenches, the capturing of German military vehicles and planes and other equipment, because it made for very good propaganda to print in the newspapers back home. |
