English: Captain's Pond Crossroads, Llanteg Looking west along the lower road, Llanteg.
The Captain's Pond is (now) behind railings. The pond was named after Captian Ackland of Amroth Castle who (supposedly) gave it to the village. However it is now in private ownership. The bus shelter on the left is a fairly new addition - not that we get served by a bus service - but for the school children waiting for their transport! Village website at www.llanteg.co.uk |
