Description

Hémiptère de la Famille des Miridae (ou Capsides), sous-famille des Mirinae. Petite punaise des plantes de 7 à 8 mm de long. Cet insecte se caractérise par sa couleur noire, l'écusson est rouge au centre ses parties latérales noires, le bord lateral du pronotum est rouge, orange ou jaune; enfin, l'extémité des élytres est également marquée d'une tache rouge. Face dorsale avec une pubescence fine, couchée et de couleur claire. Rostre et antennes à 4 articles. Forme adulte visible en France et selon les régions de mai à août.

Cette Miride se nourrit de plantes et d'insectes.
