English: "An aerial view looking west over the Capitol South area of downtown Columbus. The Capitol South redevelopment project began in 1972 with the formation of the Capitol South Task Force to study how best to revitalized the area of downtown south of the Statehouse. It concentrated on a 3-block area between South High Street, South 3rd Street, East State Street, and East Main Street. The Capitol South Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation, a nonprofit organization, was formed two years later to oversee the redevelopment. The area featured is between Town Street on the right and Rich Street on the left. The west side of South High Street between those two streets is featured as is The Centrum on the southeast corner of South High and East Town Streets.
