Summary
[edit]DescriptionCapel Bangor Post Office (Closed) - geograph.org.uk - 665614.jpg |
English: Capel Bangor Post Office (Closed) This was Capel Bangor Post Office, a full time office until closed in 2006. It was not a victim of the current round of closures, rather that the much respected village Postmaster retired after 20 years in the position and no one was willing to take it on. Not surprising given these uncertain times for post offices. The property is now up for sale.
The village is now served by a post office van - but only on Monday afternoons! |
