Description
Deutsch: Wirtshausschild des Café des Boulangers (mit Jahrzahl 1433). Das Aushängeschild ziert die Fassade der ehemaligen Auberge des Trois Cœur, der ehemaligen Confrérie des Boulangers an der rue de la Neuveville 62, Freiburg, Schweiz. Im bekrönten Schild ein Butterteiggeback im Zentrum und zwei gekreuzte Kellen. Das abgebildete Schild ist eine aus dem 17. Jahrhundert stammende Kopie, Teile der Konsole sind jünger. Die Konsole ist aus viereckigem Eisen mit geschmiedeten Verzierungen. Das Schild ist aus geschnittenem und bemaltem Blech. Das Original aus dem 15. Jahrhundert befindet sich um Museum für Kunst und Geschichte Freiburg.

L'enseigne orne la façade de l'ancienne Auberge des Trois Cœur, l'ancienne Confrérie des Boulangers à la rue de la Neuveville 62, Fribourg, Suisse. Dans l'enseigne couronnée, un croissant au centre et deux louches croisées. L'enseigne représentée est une copie datant du 17e siècle, certaines parties de la console sont plus récentes. La console est en fer carré avec des ornements forgés. L'enseigne est en tôle découpée et peinte. L'original du 15e siècle se trouve au Musée d'art et d'histoire de Fribourg..
English: Cantilever sign for the café des Boulangers (with the year 1433). The sign adorns the façade of the former ‘’Auberge des Trois Cœur‘’, the former Confrérie des Boulangers in the rue de la Neuveville 62, Fribourg, Switzerland. The crowned shield features a butter pastry in the centre and two crossed ladles. The depicted shield is a copy from the 17th century, parts of the console are younger. The bracket is made of square iron with forged decorations. The shield is made of cut and painted sheet metal. The original from the 15th century is in the Museum of Art and History in Fribourg..
