English: Canker sores are small, white ulcers with a hole at the top, that appear in the mouth and often make eating and talking difficult. These canker sores may develop in the mouth due to some high potency medicines, if you eat something very warm or you eat something very spicy. The canker sores are mostly connected with the stomach. If your stomach is upset, canker sores may develop in your mouth.
Canker Sores or mouth ulcers are of two types: 1. Simple canker sores. Simple canker sores may appear 4 to 5 times a year and last up to a week. They typically occur to the people who are between10 to 25. 2. Complex canker sores. Complex canker sores can occur any time. They usually occur to those people whose stomach gets upset instantly. This mouth ulcer can occur at any age and stage. These canker sores are less common and occur more often in people who have previously had them. Causes of Canker Sores or Mouth Ulcers The actual reason behind the canker sores is still unknown. Stress is one of the major causes of canker sores. Cold sores are also called fever blisters or herpes simplex type 1, are groups of painful, fluid-filled blisters. Cold sores are caused by a virus and are extremely transferable. Symptoms of Canker Sores Some common symptoms of canker sores are: • A painful sore inside your mouth, on the tongue, on the back portion of the roof of your mouth. On the gums or inside your cheeks. • A prickling or inflammatory sensation before the sores appears. • Sores in your mouth are round, white or gray, with a red edge or border and with a small hole at the top. • High Fever. • Slow physical movement. • Dullness. How to Treat Canker Sores? Pain of canker sores lasts for 2 weeks almost. The pain generally lessens by the time automatically. Canker sores usually heal without treatment.
