Summary
[edit]DescriptionCanberra T4 (16847321692).jpg |
WJ874 is lining up at Yeovilton in July 1985. This Canberra T4 (built in 1955) has an interesting history. It was built for the RAF, transferred to the FAA and went back to the RAF in 1986. In 1999 it was painted blue to represent Canberra-prototype VN779, that first flew in 1949. WJ874 was retired after 50 years of service in 2005. It's now at Coventry airport awaiting a decision: will fly again or not? |
