RAF Wyton, 12 May 1989. Canberra's 40th Anniversary. WJ607 is a T.17A of 360 squadron. This version was used for electronic warfare training for both radar operators (on the ground and airborne) and fighter pilots. The extended nose contained sensors. This particular Canberra was sold to Thunder City in Cape Town as ZK-AUE. It crashed on 30 September 2005. |
