Español: Parque del Campo Grande (Valladolid, España). Esqueleto de la copa de un olmo negrillo. Este parque tuvo 1800 olmos plantados, todos muertos por grafiosis. El ejemplar de la foto se mantiene en pie y sin vida, a la entrada del llamado Sendero de los Olmos. English: Campo Grande Park in Valladolid (Spain). Skeleton of the top of an ulmus minor. There were 1800 elms planted in this park, but all of them died due to Dutch elm disease. This specimen stands dead at the entrance of the "Sendero de los Olmos" (Path of the Elms). |
