Description 100531-N-6939M-003 Kabul, Afghanistan (May 31, 2010) Col. Ronald Green and Col. Terrence O’Sullivan Light candles during a ceremony held in honor of all fallen comrades of all wars and all nations is held at Camp Eggers, Kabul, Afghanistan. During his speech Lt. Gen. William B. Caldwell, IV Commanding General of NATO Training Command – Afghanistan asked the question what does it takes for a regular citizen to rise to the challenge and be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in service to their nation? Caldwell answers the question with: the values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless-service, honor, integrity, and personal courage- adding that each and every nation shows these values in their service to their countries. Ending thoughts from Caldwell – let us all use this day to focus our thoughts and prayers to cherish the memory of those loved and lost in the defense of our nations.
