Description Cameroon is a very environmentally diverse country. Each region faces its own threats and challenges to the ecosystem. In the Northwest Region, unsustainable land use practices and overgrazing by nomadic Fulani cow herders have resulted in significant deforestation. Consequently, this has serious implications on the health of the watershed and the fertility of the soil.
