Description

The town hall, home to the bell ...
Originally on the temple of the Calade in Nimes, the bell is recast in 1661, after the Edict of Nantes. It is rejected by the Church St. Eugenia of Nîmes because of the Protestant inscription that you can read in part on the shoulder of the bell To the Gentlemen of the Reformed religion in Nimes to serve their Grand Temple. Without the use of the word, I call to holy assembly the Saints inhabitants of the city who honor Christ in the pure religion. <br:>

Acquired by community Calvisson she was moved to her current place in 1848.
