Description
Català: Placa de la creu. El text llegeix: "Creu aixecada al lloc on desembarcà el rei Jaume I amb les seves tropes per a la conquesta de Mallorca el 10 de setembre de 1229. Aquest monument de l'escultor Tomàs Vila fou inaugurat el 10 de setembre de 1929 - VII centenari de la Conquesta - per l'infant Don Jaime de Borbón i beneït per l'arquebisbe Dr. Miralles. Fou restaurat sota patrocini de l'Ajuntament de Calvià essent batle Jaume Martorell Vicens (10 de setembre de 1959). Destruïda parcialment per un llamp el desembre de 1996. Fou restaurada i inaugurada el 9 de setembre de 1997, essent batlessa Margarita Nájera Aranzábal."
