Summary
[edit]DescriptionCalifornia State Capital.png |
English: The image that I have chosen is the California State Capital which is based on the U.S. Capital building in Washington D.C. This is the legislative building, which is one of the three branches of the state government. They set aside half a million dollars for this building in 1860 and was finished in 1874 with a total cost of $2.45 million. This remarkable building has multiple rooms dedicated to former governors. For example, they have designated sections of all the former governor's offices and let me tell you there were many! They also have a basement which has a statue of Ronald Reagon who has been nominated to be the most beloved president/governor we've had. There is so much history behind this one building and so much going on inside it. It's something you have to see in person because there is just to much going on in that building to talk about. |
