Locality: Bou Azzer District, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate Province, Souss-Massa-Draâ Region, Morocco (Locality at mindat.org)
Just look at the length and articulation of these crystals! A recent small batch of these cobaltoan calcites with relatively large and quite gemmy crystals has come out of Bou Azzer, and I have grabbed all I could. They are truly exceptional for what they are! The crystals that peak the matrix here measure up to above one centimeter in length, with fine pyramidal terminations. 4.1 x 3.2 x 2.3cm
