Description
Deutsch: Tafel im Eingangsbereich der Sparkasse in Calbe (Saale), Breite 3. Beim Bau der Sparkasse (1936) musste der „Lemmer-Hof“ (ein altes großbäuerliches Gebäude) abgerissen werden, nur der Taubenturm und der Eingang dieses Hofes von 1697 blieben hinter der Sparkasse erhalten. Am Eingang der Sparkasse ist eine Steintafel von diesem Hof mit einer Inschrift zu Ehren der Familie Lemmer eingemauert. Auf der Tafel vom Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts steht, dass der Saltzer Syndikus Conrad Lemmer, gebürtig aus Minden, verheiratet mit Katharina Heithaus, zum Lobe Gottes, zum Ruhme der Stadt und zum Nutzen der Nachwelt drei Gebäude von 1612 bis 1615 errichtet hat, einschl. Ställen und Speichern. Dessen Sohn war der Pfarrer Magister Lemmer, der sich um den Wiederaufbau der Stephanikirche nach dem Dreißigjährigen Krieg verdient gemacht hat, siehe [1].
