Nederlands: Café 't Mandje aan de Zeedijk was sinds 1927 in bezit van Bet van Beeren. Zij kwam openlijk uit voor haar homoseksualiteit. Al jong wist Bet dat ze op vrouwen viel. 't Mandje was één van de eerste cafés waar homoseksuele mannen en lesbische vrouwen hun geaardheid niet hoefden te verbergen. In 1967 overleed Bet. Ze lag twee dagen opgebaard op het biljart. Haar 21 jaar jongere zuster Greet zette de zaak voort tot de heroïne in 1982 het leven op de Zeedijk compleet ontwricht had. Greet woonde er boven en zorgde dat er regelmatig werd afgestoft, gelucht en gestofzuigd. Op 29 april 2009 is het café heropend.
