Description
Français : Cadran solaire (méridienne) servant exclusivement à la détermination du midi vrai et du midi moyen du Soleil. Il est basé sur le méridien de La Chapelle-aux-Lys qui "retarde" de deux minutes et trente-huit secondes sur le méridien de Greenwich.

La méridienne porte la devise cappellaulisienne : « O vindra bé torjou ine hure por tout fére, même si o l'é teurjou l'hure de rin fére...»

Ce qui signifie : « Il viendra bien toujours une heure pour tout faire, même s'il est toujours l'heure de ne rien faire... ».
